Black and white never looked so good!
Many people (including me) get mixed up between this cartridge and the 'HP 21B Black Ink Cartridge'.
So, I would like to clear up the fog (as I see it) a little. The 21B is the cheaper version of this cartridge and it is cheaper for a reason. The 21B will not give as good or as many prints as this will. Also, this cartridge dried up after a month of use and I was left with an ink cartridge which i couldn't use at all.

Expensive but worth it.
Firstly this is one of the most expensive HP cartridges and ironically it fits into the cheapest HP printers. But with the expensive price one gets great quality prints and peace of mind that the printer will stay safe with an original product.

good fit to hp f4180. but not deep black
the product is good one and fits to my printer. but the print looks like faded. my canon pixma ip1188 prints good quality and deep dark prints than this catridge. the prints looks like deep gray.

Worth the cost
The colour is not complete black but grey when printed in normal quality. But it is a good product for the price we are paying for it. I have used it for a number times. Prints a lot of pages. Good for everyday use.

Go for it! Amazing quality prints.
I ordered this package from 'Flipkart' a couple of months ago and decided I would only review
this item after using it. For two months the cartridge has been giving me very good quality prints. I am a student so I have to print in colour almost all the time and the cartridge gives me the exact colours that i see on the screen.
I recommend that people buy from here instead of shops because they sometimes sell duplicate or refilled cartridges at lower price but they do not give the same quali...

Its a Great one to me...
I am using my HP printer for last 5years now and this is the 2nd tym I purchased 21b cartridge. My last one lasted for around more than 3years. I used to refill and run it...It never gave me problems in text printings. Tough after a few refills, it was wavy and at last it died...I use my printer vigorous, and cant afford to purchase a new every month...All in all U will be delighted with the performance... :)

Genuine product! Recommended!!
Happy with the product! Have received genuine HP product. It is working absolutely fine (used with HP deskjet F2120). Budget option for home use. Color of the ink is slightly lighter than 21 (it's simple black). If looking for dark black prints then opt for 21 black ink.

A:Yes you can! but it will not be good and all smudgy on paper. i tried once but after seeing the result i stopped refilling. I buy it again and again. Moreover refilling spoils the printer too!

Q:what is difference bw 21 and 21b apart from price??
A:Both are the same. It is used for low volume heavy quality laser printing jobs and has 5ml of ink.

A:Most printers mandate that you have both the cartridges placed. Just leave the empty color cartridge in the printer as is. Then you should be able to print using the black cartridge.
