The Touch Dual comes with the Live HTC homescreen that gives one touch access to weather updates, daily headlines, contacts and new messages. The handset supports 3.5G which is 9 times faster than usual 3G, regardless of your location.

The Touch Dual comes with the innovative 3D touch cube interface, when coupled with the TouchFLo technology, makes scrolling, panning and zooming an absolute breeze. The handset runs on Windows Mobile 6 Professional and supports Direct Push email. The phone features the Slide Detection technology, on sliding the keypad, a snazzy menu appears with access to commonly associated activities like write an email, SMS, add a contact or a new note. Another welcome addition is the TouchFLO enabled 'Camera Album'. It supports tile views of your photos, with smooth fades while zooming and rotations.

The HTC Audio Manager is another useful preloaded app, it supports more audio and video codecs compared to Windows Media Player and includes a equalizer. The handset has a 2 MP camera; HTC has revamped the image application and has made it more user-friendly and thrown in a cool black skin.

The Touch Dual supports a range of third party apps, including a Flash Lite Player with which you can stream Youtube videos and Office Mobile and PDF reader.
