May be good for exams but not for subject learners

I didn't buy it in flipkart,but I've read it in our college library.In fact this book is prescribed textbook for our college.But I suggest you,If you want a clear understanding on High Voltage DC transmission read this book : Direct Current Transmission by E.W.Kimbark volume I and II (Most of our syllabus is in volume I however). I think this is not available in flipkart nor in outside book shops but in most of university libraries(just like Alternating current machinery by Puchstein and Lloy...

Good for academics

Typical Padiyar's book.
liltle advanced for UG.(Because this author assumes some prerequisites and more common sense of basics)
But control strategies are explained in precise.Helps reader to give a try of simulations.

Reason to do shoping on Flipkart
