Some of the chapters in this book include Worlds Beyond Space And Time, Black Holes And Parallel Universes, To Build A Time Machine, Signals From The Tenth Dimension, The Secret Of Light: Vibrations In The Fifth Dimension, The Fate Of Universe, The Man Who “Saw” The Fourth Dimension, and Mathematicians And Mystics.
Kaku explains all four forces of the universe, which are the weak force, strong force, electromagnetism, and gravity. In Hyperspace: A Scientific Odyssey Through Parallel Universes, Time Warps, And The 10th Dimension, Kaku first throws light on the history of higher dimensions, along with the difficulty to bring together quantum mechanics and general relativity. Following that, he also deals with the theories pertaining to the 2-D world, also known as “Flatland”.
About Michio Kaku
Michio Kaku is a renowned theoretical physicist from America.
Apart from this book, Kaku has written several famous science books. Some of the books written by Kaku include Parallel Worlds: The Science Of Alternative Universes And Our Future In The Cosmos, Strings, Conformal Fields, And M-Theory, To Win A Nuclear War: The Pentagon's Secret War Plans, and Visions: How Science Will Revolutionize The 21st Century And Beyond.
Kaku was born on the 24th of January, 1947, in San Jose, California. He completed his studies from Cubberley High School, Palo Alto, and further studies at Harvard University in the year 1968. Kaku later studied at Berkeley Radiation Laboratory, University of California, Berkeley, where he completed his doctoral degree in the year 1972. Through the course of his career, he has published more than 70 research articles in a number of physics journals. He currently serves as the Henry Semat Professor of Theoretical Physics at City College, New York City.
