Professor Ghosh has also worked with several organizations and on many consultancy assignments in India and abroad. He is now serving as the Dean (Alumni & External Relationships) of IIM-A.

    Good academic book

    This book is purely for those who appreciate the academic angle of strategies for growth. It is up to the standards expected from an IIMA book. Beginners will not fully understand the the content. It is a book with strategic theories that the reader has to apply... don't expect a magic formula handed to you on a silver platter. Read it for enhancing your knowledge.

    Purely academic... nothing to carry forward for practical world

    Seems the book is written keeping in mind academics and it has only age old practices. Not an extensive material though. Some points mentioned, especially advantages and disadvantages of some strategies, are very silly. This wasn't expected from an IIM-Ahd book series. Buy with no expectations and for academic use only.

    Very Boring, predictable content! Don't buy!

    Well as an business owner I was in the growth stage hence picked up this book to see if I was looking at all aspects of growth. Well the book covers most of it but with content that you can probably find in Wikipedia. Over all it was a very boring book and the moment you start reading you can imagine a really old professor teaching you 1950's content and might end up putting you to sleep.
    There are much better books on growth. Unless you are giving an exam don't buy this book.
