Mind-blowing purchase
I am fond of reading biographies. As I believe that history is nothing but biographies of great men. An author of renown like Sunil Khilnani makes this book very interesting and hard to put. But at different junctions Mr Khilnani's anti Modi mindset peeps in. And this hurts me. But any lover of history of India must read this volume. Delivery was not good.

Just wow!
An incisive work of popular history. Undercutting, irreverent, and impish. It attempts to show, through prodigious but lightly worn scholarship, how complex and heterodox the Indian past was, and how it has been, and continues to be, constructed. Khilnani offers a fresh, cosmopolitan way of examining the Indian past. Everywhere he looks he sees rivers of influence and thought and ideas.
