The pan was rusty, almost a dirty bronze in colour and coated with a thin film of oil.
I cleaned the pan thoroughly with lots of hot water and dish soap, then I re-seasoned it (properly).
Works fine, as intended (non-stick).
One thing that brothers me is that there is no hole in the handle to hang the pan from. Would have been very convenient had there been one.

It's an average Cast Iron small fry pan . The inside finish is also average. The handle is dangerous as it's not insulated, If one is careless it may burn your fingers and palm .
