Really loved it. This novel builds on everything that was great in R.V. Raman's previous book maintaining the fast pace while taking nothing away from the scam. The crime, the characters and the plot in general are intricate and very well written. Demonstrably better than most other Indian crime fiction books.
What I really liked about this book (and the previous one by this author) is the way women are portrayed. Unlike the typical thrillers that objectify women, the female characters in this book are people of substance. And equally importantly, the author doesn’t resort to sleaze to grab attention.

Phew! This was some book. Gripping and fast as it takes you deep into the stock market and a board room. Some really original stuff here, I must say. Hats off to the author. And its a great murder mystery too. Highly recommended.
An intriguing crime that is nicely set up in the first few chapters and then well narrated thereafter. Good reasoning and deduction by the police officer (who solves the murder), as well as by the other characters (who unravel the insider trading scam). Authentic storytelling and crisp writing. Good stuff.
