This is a great processor, beats the AMD Buldozer i.e 4-core varient, and is better than any dual core and some quad core AMD CPU .This guy comes with Integrated graphics i.e.HD2000 which gives a score of 4.8 out of 7.9 on WEI(Windows experience Index). i3 2100 is the best processor for a budget gaming pc!!
even the benchmarks of many reviewing sites have proved it to be very effective for gaming!!
it has beatdown the faled bulldozer fx 4100 vewry easily!! even the overclocked amd phenom II 965 @ 4.0< just stands near to this 3.1 ghz processor!! and in most of the games core i3 2100 clearly takes the lead on the other 2!!
its simply because of the core i3 better and effective architecture!!
go for it if u r on a tight budget!!

Nice proc!!!
I bought this processor from a local shop for my new entry level gaming rig. I got it for about 6500 Rs. This processor is a beast in its price range. Although you can buy an AMD processor for the same price I would highly recommend Intel over AMD. The benchmark performance of Intel will always stay better than AMD. I have Windows7 Ultimate 32 Bit. The WEI gives 7.1 rating which is awesome. A word for some people - "This processor is not meant for overclocking." I have seen on the web people ...

The Best Budget Processor For All Purpose
This processor is my first and i am very happy to have it.
This can play most games if combined with a good graphics card and ram....
For Other purpose it is also very good and runs smoothly like surfing,music,video converting etc...

you can for it if u have motherboatrd with LGA 1155 socket
i.e unless and u have a mother board which require processer of such model and if u feel intel i5,i7 are too high level for your use
if not u can go for intel p4/core 2 duo processor
