First of all, G3258 can do wonders.

Reason i gave it a 2 star :

In Amazon global website, the same processor costs $60, which translates around INR 3700.
Fortunately, Asus and many manufacturers support overclocking 3258 on their B85 and H81 chip-set based motherboards, which costs around $60 again, so the cost for both CPU and Motherboard would not exceed 120-130 $, i.e Rs 7500-8000.

But here in India, the processor itself cost around 5300 and a good motherboard that could unlock the pote...

The only difference between this and i3 is that it is having a little less performing in-built gpu and it is also not having hyperthreading.

It is a great overclocker and it should be easy to get it to 4.0 GHz.

If you are a gamer you should know that you can't do great wonders with an in-built gpu and hyperthreading.

I overclocked it to 4.4 and paired it with an R9 270.
Results are
1- Watch Dogs Ultra 35 fps 1080p
2- Battlefield 4 Ultra 50 fps 1080p
3- Crysis 3 Very high settings 55 fps108...

I've bought this with Gigbyte H81M-S1. I can easily overclock with it. It's really a nice processor for low budget gaming pc. Even without dedicated graphics card I was able to play games with playable frame rates. (NFS Most wanted 2012, Tomb Raider 2013, Call of duty World at war etc). Windows 7 score for graphics was 6.8 which is much batter then my old Nvidia GT 520. I've bought a Nidia GT 640 DDR5. Waiting for delivery.
