I think this is a great product for the price. The Cam works well and the in-built mic is good too. The flipside, and a major one, is that the LEDs stay on. I shut down my system but never turn off the UPS and hence power supply is constant. This is quite irritating.

Althoug, it does work as a night lamp when guests use the guest room where my comp is stationed

When the courier boy handed the package in my hand there was two questions repetitively running in my mind, Awesome-Awful,Awesome-Awful.. just then I connected it to my DELL to see what it really ends to. Just when plugged in.The best part it automatically downloaded/installed driver and configured itself.
Then I checked a CD which was in the package it says DIRVER and ADD ONS.. I checked that CD and found some drivers and for more compatibility and some fun camera games which I installed ...

Got this yesterday and was very excited about it. I really wanted to check the clarity and sharpness of it asap. And when I plugged it in for the first time, man I was shocked! All I could see were some blurry images that's it. After tweaking a bit, I realized it has to be set using the focus setting tool over the lens. Came to my senses after that.

Bought this today! Great delivery by flipkart again. Received it in just 2 days. Coming to the device, it is the best webcam one can have at just the price of Rs. 409. Its the cheapest webcam in the market. Best if you are using it under day light. The image gets darker at night if you are not having enough light in the room. So if you are up for some "7 out of 10" rating webcam at this price then its the best buy. Go for it! I am enjoying using it :)

If you have internet connection less than 512 kbps you have to get this cam only.

Acc. to spec its 8 MP. But clarity during video chat will look like 2 MP webcam only.
So video chat is smooth without interuptions.
Plus it has in-built mic and LED lights.

If you have internet connection of 1 Mbps or more then you can go for logitech 5 MP cams or something like that.

I’m writing this review after a use of 3 years. As mentioned, this cam works fine under low light, the picture quality is very nice and clear. At this price, I believe it’s very hard to find a web cam having 8 megapixel of resolution. This works with all OS, from windows to linux.

i brought it a year ago and it's just working fine till now. The LEDs change brightness automatically and turn off if light is enough for viewing. I am using it for video chatting purpose and I am sufficed with it. A recommended product

i've been using this for about a month now so here is my review for a 8MP still reso its not that good but i still like this better than the 600K model as this has an in-built mic with a good sound recording quality and its quite cheap too if ur looking for a budget cam this this is the one u should go for.
