After a good amount of usage i have penned down these comments and wanted to have a perfect idea of how to use and what to use. Overall this is the perfect media device which will enable you to centrally store all your valuable media files and also this will help to access your data from anywhere !!! Is'nt that amazing... yes it is.

Its a great product, I was already using the 1 TB Screenplay for last 5 years and was quite attached to this brand. As expected the product worth every penny although its a bit costlier - reason being multiple connectivity options , easy setup and easy operations .... additional attraction is the wifi dongle which comes with this pact. I was searching for a good media player and I had tough time in choosing WD and this one. Then my friend came to rescue as he owned a IOmega. I had to postpone my decision for sometime and waited for his feedback. As expected, it was positive and immediately I placed the order.

Once this was setup with my TV, the 3-DVD system was packed and lying idle! The output is amazing and the remote is very neat. Since I used to download a lot, this media player came to the rescue of having ample space...

Nicely playing all format with stunning clarity..........very nice user friendly interface with loading fast all the files .............Almost plays all the file formats....Even it plays the DVD5 AND DVD9 formats equal to the bluray formats...

Edit on 23rd August 2014 - Please ignore rest of review below. This item is a piece of crap. Do not buy. Go for the WD Live instead, its much better. Mine died after 6 months of use.

Extremely buggy but if you are willing to live with the annoyances works well to play downloaded content on a big screen tv. Some of the annoyances: -

I had bought IOmega ScreenPlay DX HD 3.5 inch 2 TB Media Player through Flipkart (Order ID: OD21014060104) in October, 2012. Glancing at the specifications and a very wide spectrum of the formats it can play, it appeared a very promising product! But the trouble started as soon as I loaded all my media on the HD Media player. It started behaving very erratically. 1. The only plus is that it has a 1TB storage but since the Wireless Adapter provided is not very useful, the write speed when you wish to transfer your media to this device is pathetic 200kbps which means this will take approximately 2 hours to transfer one movie to the device which is PATHETIC*

2. Your tube widget provided on Firmware is broken so no youtube for you.

3. Remote is poorly designed and hard to use.

I would have returned this but could not get time to open and try the device...
