Jiwadaya Netramrit is formulated with Honey, Kapoor and effective medicinal herbs like Triphala and Neem, Haridra. Honey and Kapoor control infection and inflammation. They have antiseptic like properties. Kapoor is a counter irritant. It has been known to provide cooling effect to the eyes as well. Hence Kapoor is used topically to relieve pain and reduce itching. Honey considered “Chakshusha” - good for eyes, by Ayurveda, provides necessary nutrition to the eye tissue. Honey has antibacterial effects and can be used to prevent corneal scarring caused by infection. Triphala, augments the ocular strength, specially helps in Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS). The ingredients of Triphala(i.e. Amla, Bibhitak and Haritaki) have Antimicrobial property. Netramrit eye drops contain Neem Bark that decrease the infection, acts against germs and fungi; also soothes eyes and reduces stress.
