SOURCE - This pulp comes from the fruit BAEL, popularly known as BEL (Wood-Apple) in India. It is the fibrous mesocarp, referred as BEL (Wood-Apple) pulp. This pulp is the sweet, edible flesh surrounding the seed of the Bael (Wood-Apple) fruit, is rich in vitamins, minerals, carbohydrate, and anti-oxidants and is consumed directly as a fruit and also processed into different confectioneries. TASTE - Having a rich, caramel-like flavour, with hints of butterscotch. BAEL (WOOD-APPLE) Pulp is naturally very sweet due to its high sugar content, primarily fructose and glucose. AROMA - Sweet and fruity, reminiscent of caramel and honey, it has a mild but pleasant smell that is inviting and appetizing. COLOR - Depending on the variety of date, the color ranges from amber to dark brown, with a glossy appearance.
