Like the title suggests, this section explains how the demon Kali was ruling the earth, and was making life a living hell for all the people. This is when Lord Vishnu decided to come into this world to end this Kali Yuga, and ensure the welfare of every being on this earth.
People wondered how they would be able to identify the incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Kalki was born to Brahmin Vishnu Yasha, who requested Brahmanas to conduct an initiation ceremony for his son. The sacred thread ceremony took place, and Kalki was sent for formal education to Guru Parashuram.

Kalki Purana English also elaborates on Kalki’s marriage, and how he prepares for the war against Kali. Readers will see how the protagonist brings an end to this evil yug, and destroys all wicked rulers and fake prophets.
