I am Kalp Nath Dubey, son of Shri Gorakhnath Dubey, born to mother Smt. Gulabi Devi in ??a simple Brahmin family on 1 July 1945 in the season of heavy rains and storms. I was an ordinary student. In 1985, I passed 10th from Tulsi Das Mahavidyalaya, Gorakhpur. Then, while on the move, I passed 12th from Uruwa Bazar and B.A. from Gorakhpur University and on 10 January 1966, I joined CRPF Central Reserve Police Force as a constable. By the grace of Almighty God, I retired from the post of Inspector in June 2002. I was not a poet or a writer. Sometimes, in a mood, I wrote some stories, novels and poems. Some were published in some magazines but now there is no collection of them. I am grateful to Dr. Shri Kali Prasad Dubey, Lecturer in Linguistics, Shri Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Varanasi and Smt. Jai Shri Dwivedi, Lecturer in Deen Dayal Upadhyaya University, Gorakhpur (D.D.U). These two honourable people had preserved my simple writings and graciously returned them to me a few years after my retirement. This helped me put my pen to paper again.
