I found these things which may be useful to others .
Ram is 512 not 1gb ,(nowhere in box label they said 1gb )
Processor is mkt6575 single core ,
Gpu is powervr sgx531 ,plays angry birds smoothly (far better than adreno 200 )

Karbonn A18 definitely Rocks over Micromax A100. Reasons:
1. A18 has 720p video recording. Which is not in A100, it has outdated 480p video recording.
2. 4.3" Screen is ideal for phone. If you want A100 due to large screen of 5" I would suggest you to go for 7" or 10" tablets they are more large ;) And I don't think it is easy to use 5" phone by one hand and carry it in pockets, and since A100 has large screen without any protection, it is more prone to breakage on fall.

I was originally going to buy the Micromax Canvas A100, but it was out of stock on Flipkart and my patience wore out. I have been using this handset for over 10 days now and this is what I've found out:

I received this phone from Flipkart 20 days back. My earlier phone costed me 30k+ but it was broken due to which I decided to purchase a less priced phone. I found this phone amazing in every aspect. I write this review after having purchased this phone from flipkart about a week back. After a week's usage, these are the broad observations I have been able to conclude.

Trust me, this phone is super value for money. Has a great display, is really smooth with scrolling and has great touch response. It also comes pre-loaded with essential apps.

Do not expect to see a Galaxy S2 or S3. But you will surely not be disappointed when you consider the price you pay for it. I would definitely recommend it as a fantastic budget android phone.
