It's an awesome product. It needs two AA batteries and functions by vibrating and suction. When using you might feel a mild tingling sensation. They instruct to use it with whitening gel but toothpaste maybe ok too. It gives slow and sure results , so don’t expect immediate results. A small amount of toothpaste inside and on of the tip of the polishing cup and put some toothpaste over the portion of teeth you will be polishing. This tool is so good and it can be used very easily.
