This oil has a cooling sensation like that of fast relief and works really well and fragrance is very soothing. What I love is the packaging, the bottle has another tiny lid inside the cap which prevents the oil from spilling of the bottle is not kept upright. My mom has arthritis and she used it, it works well when the pain is less but yes for too much pain you'll need to take a pain killer. But this oil works for low to moderate pain
