best upgrade a desktop can have!!!
Instead of upgrading your slow C2D or i3 1st gen. processor or slower 633 Ghz RAM , I strongly recommend upgrading the computer by adding 120/128 GB SSD as primary drive and make the older 350-500 G as secondary drive for other personal stuff, movies and games. I have Windows 8 and many heavy software like Visual Studio, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Office 2013 etc. And it usually took 2-3 mins when I switched from one heavy software to another like switching from Photoshop after doing 1 hr. of wo...

I have this SSD & its decent based on Sandforce SF-2281 controller..
I'm limited by SATA 2 speed on my laptop so I'm yet to unleash the max performance but AS-SSD gives 510 overall score with 240 MB/s seq. read & 156/MB/s seq. write
This will easily be 350 MB/s + on SATA 3..
Also these things will have a better lifespan coz it uses industries smallest available NAND to consumers.. Toshiba 19nm Toggle mode.
Satisfied with the purchase it doesn't come with any backup software or a 3.5" ada...

Just as good as expected.....
Delivery was fast. Product is batter at this price.
I am using this SSD in my macbook pro..
Which gave me the amazing booting speed, read/write speed and good battery life...

good ssd with great price
This is a good SSD considering the price. I bought it for 3200 from Paytm. My price per GB turns out to be 26.66/- which is excellent.
Also the warranty quoted here is wrong, it is 3 years. You can check it for yourself by searching "Kingston V300 warranty". I checked it myself, its 3 years limited warranty.
All advanced features like TRIM, SMART and garbage collection are enabled. It also supports SATA 6.0 Gbps transfer rate.

This SSD is good.
I felt comfortable according to my budget.
This SSD I got, had Sticky plastic base.
Then that base of SSD can be stick with the help of Double Tape anywhere in cabinet.
No Cable is with this pack.
Get ready with your own or your SATA HDD cables are OK (Data & Power).
I used it with G31 board & iBall Power supply - 2 years old.
Latest Motherboards have good / latest Bios and detects it automatically.
XP SP2 is also supported, if Bios of Motherboard Detects it.

Good hard drive
I have been using this HDD for over a month now and have noticed significant improvement on my windows 8 machine. My machine boots up pretty fast and is up and running in few seconds. I got about 111 GB of usable space which is more than enough for an OS partition.
Definitely a buy.
Still a buy Two years on and the hard drive is still going strong:)

My system configuration is Intel i3 3330 with Intel DB75EN motherboard/Corsair Vengeance 4 GB DDR3 RAM/360 GB HDD running Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit). Excellent value
This Kingston SSD is excellent value. I have two of these in different PCs and the product posts impressive boot times. These have been very reliable with over a 8 months of regular use. A great way to get onto the SSD league !

Quality for price
Received this product within 48 hours. Packaging was good.
Pros:
1. Read/ Write speeds are pretty close to mentioned values.
2. If you go for a fresh install (google around and learn how to get the best from ssd) you can easily get less than half the boot timings that you get with hdd.
Cons:
1. Package just got the ssd. No cable or adapter provided.
2. Get your adapter separately or be innovative about mounting the ssd.
Overall a nice purchase.

this ssd is nice one, not so fast.
windows index is 7.2 out of 7.9 (in other ssd it is 7.9/7.9)
but as compare to price it's performance is O.K.
start up time for win 8 is 13 sec.
start up time in mac is 12 sec.
