X marks is not visible like the other reviewer said. Variable ND filters are made of two rotating polarized disc and this is one of the best in the market. No vignetting issue. Vignetting may be an issue for people using non compatible smaller size lenses. Always buy a lens with big diameter and filters with at least 82 mm size. Using this filter for more than a year and no issues.

Best for Beginners
If you're starting out in photography and video, I'll highly recommend getting this ND filter. For beginners this is the best bang for the buck compared to expensive brands like Tiffen, B+W, etc. Learn how to use and when to use ND filters, once you've gained enough experience, go for more expensive brands for more quality.

Brilliant
This thing is freaking crazy. This does not have an x pattern issue. The colours are neutral, there is no colour cast. I have used this on my 35mm f1.8 and 85mm f1.8 lenses and it gets completely dark. I need to further test it but from the looks of what i am seeing, i am extremely impressed. I dont know where Kodak is sourcing this filter from but i hope the folks at kodak dont screw it up. This thing is awesome!
