LEGO Batman: The Video Game [Essentials]  (Games, PS3)

We all love the little colored bricks that come in varying sizes and shapes, especially when they come in the shapes of the well known superheroes and eminent personalities. The Lego Batman Videogame is a great little title that comes with perks and quirks of its own. The game is a collaboration between Lego and Traveller’s Tales, published by Warner Bros. The game is based on the comic superhero Batman and the Lego toy in order to encourage even younger players to associate themselves with the franchise. You see a lot of similarity in terms of graphics and game play with respect to Lego Star Wars and Indiana Jones.

The player gets to control one from among a wide range of characters available. The storyline and gameplay follows a third person perspective which gives you more visibility in terms of special awareness. The primary focus of the game will be to fight enemies, solve puzzles that range from simple ones to complicated tasks and also to collect Studs. These Studs form the primary currency in the game which can be used to purchase various items and upgrades.

The highly popular action adventure game has a PEGI rating of 7 and comes with an extensive and highly engaging single player campaign. In case you want to skip right to cooperative or competitive multiplayer modes, you can do so as well.
