Value for Money except for its terrible Battery
Pros:
1.Nice display
2.Did not get stuck.. but when going from one app to another, slightly lags
3.great service by flipkart and lenovo( taken care by HCL touch at Chennai, great response)
4.Touch response is also too good.
5. All pre installed apps are of use.. including UC browser, google chrome, music players

1.Worst ever battery if you use 3g... stands not even a day..without data connection comes more than a day.

smarter than cheap samsung in the range
first its hardware, MTK 6577 1.0GHz Dual Core processor, Power VR SGX531 graphics and with android 4.0.4 ICS OS. this combination is best compared to samsang's this range phones with lots of complaints.
around 1GB ROM and internal memory is 4GB available for user, so no need to bother for deleting apps to add new. i added 8GB SD card for media and comfortable.
video supports HD, played HD moves with VLC, MX player, no lagging.

Good phone at this Price
1-GPS is not working, googled it and found on lenovo forums that this is common problem with lenovo phones especially A390.There users suggested some tweaks for rooting the phone and setting default settings to Indian servers.But i didn't tried it as this phone belongs to ma sis & she dosen't want any R&D with it as GPS is of no use to her....(This is major flaw, if its true & should be worked out by lenovo)

2.quiet smart in its looks,with the inbuilt 4 lenovo launcher themes it has many more flaunting options.

Best for Android Beginners
Cons:
Battery drains fast.
Lags sometime.
Camera not good.(outdoor its ok. I tried barcode reader on a product but the image was so blurred that reader failed.)
I recommend this for 1st time android users who want in this price tag a good handset.

Very difficult to open the back cover for changing the SIM or SD Card.
