if you want a high end TV with the bells and whistles, and the best TV panel and picture quality look no further. bear in mind the same panel iand processor is
used in all higher models right up to wallpaper w8.
the inbuilt smart features work as advertised, with HDR and dolby vision.
do bear in mind you might need to do some calibration to get best colour accuracy.
also the sound is adequate, but really if you are getting this sort of TV, you should already have invested in a soundbar or...

Got dead pixels.
Worked fine a week and then a dead pixel appeared on the center of the screen, which stays on in bright red colour.
Very distracting. Really disappointed of this, for such an expensive tv.
Update:
After 1 year, the sound has lessened on both the speakers and external outputs. Previously I set only around 15% volume, now I need to go up to 50% for the same audible volume.

A:A fact first, LG provides the OLED panels for Sony, Panasonic. LG is a great value with great picture, great price, slick interface with poor sound. Sony a little over priced with a far better audio

Q:what about burn-in issue?
A:no less and no more than any other OLED TV, though LG has software tweaks to help. nevertheless you need to take care to avoid it. also take long breaks if u play games on the TV to avoid burn in.

Q:what makes c8 better than b8 except processor upgration?
A:The processor and consequent improved visual performance such as support for Dolby Vision, at tiny price difference makes c8 a better pick over the b8. p.s the stand is better also, if u care about it

Q:Is burn in issue a problem that this faces ? In my house one news channel is watched nearly the whole day long. Will this be a problem or should I go with Sony x900f LED and not OLED ?
A:picture quality is unmatched. Using only a month. So its too early to comment on burn in issues. Set logo Luminance low, on the screen shift.switch off the screen for 5-10 mn after watching 3hours.
