Inspite of advice from many friends and relatives, i made the blunder of buying LG smart phone. Bought LG optimus P970( white) in Feb from flipcart.( flipcart service was excellent).

This is my second LG phone. First one was LG Optimus One. I became LG fan since I bought Optimus One. Many of my friends are Samsung fan and when they saw LG Optimus black for the first time many of them said oh you bought an iPhone. :-)

Yes! This phone model is not new but if you are looking for good android phone around Rs.16,000 budget then you may want to go for Optimus black. If your budget is around Rs.10000 then my recommendation will be go for Optimus One.

I ordered my LG Optimus Black last Friday and received this Monday.. Was eagerly waiting to use the device... Excellent delivery services by flipkart. Excellent packaging to avoid any damage. been using this phone since almost 18 months now. LG has officially released ICS upgrade for this model, and mine is running on it. Makes this device slightly closer to competetion, if not head-on in to it.
In my opinion, it was a great device when it was introduced. Display is great, viewing angles are good and size/dimensions are perfect for a phone. So many falls and bumps, that there are dents on this phone now, still works just fine. But it will not be an ideal choice today.

Product works fine as promised and it upgraded to Android 2.3 easily, nice big screen and value for money , box had a current manufacturers warranty i.e July 2012

Really nice phone with as many features as other 20k Android phones have. But this is the thinnest one having brightest IPS display. This phone just got Gingerbread update and is ready to get the ICS update in the third quarter of 2012! I think this is the best phone among Xperia Neo V, Galaxy S, N8 and Desire S.

One of the good and handy android phone available. Less wt. and sleek design are best attraction. Good processing speed and 32GB expandable memory give additional power. Battery life is also good, if you use the nect connection wisely. Experience it.....!

well i am a proud owner of this phone from the past 2 months and it's a gr8 phone overall the only problem i faced was the ram which is 512 and usable 381mb so it runs out of juice pretty quick games do lag sometimes and the loudspeaker is woeful but except that its way much better than samsung galaxy s or s+ it has a beautiful screen the cam is also decent and the flash is a added bonus and yeah looks awesome one of the thinnest smart phones available in the market but the only flipside that...

This phone is already old in the market now with an outdated operating system. LG has been promising to provide ICS upgrade but nothing happened so far. 512 mb RAM is decent but for some reason it is not enough for the phone. You will have to use a memory cleaner app to clear memory once in a while, especially if you like gaming. Sometimes the phone lags so badly and you may be forced to remove battery to restart but I am guessing that this problem is not there only on higher end Android phon...

This is the best phone in its price range. People may not buy this phone because of the LG brand name but believe me its an amazing phone and you can root it later to get the best results.

Some of the features like wifi direct and smartshare are exclusive and you may not get these features even in some of the top rated phones.
