LG breaks through the mid/high range performance barrier!!

First off all, hats off to flipkart, got delivery within 3 days, that too when I ordered on Sunday. Now we take a look at the specs of this beast:

Pros:

1. TI OMAP 4430 SOC(Dual Cortex A9+SGX540), for those who don't know this is the same SOC(chip) present in Galaxy Tab 7" and 10" series, Galaxy Nexus, Droid RAZR and a bunch of other high-end devices from 2012-2013, so, right there on the performance metric.

2. 4.7" IPS panel, amazing viewing angle and 30% brightness is enough except for s...

Awesome Price with Little Cons

This is an awesome VFM Package with respect to Android. Don't know about LG After Sales but under 20k Motorola Atrix 2 was the best until they left Asia Market but this is hands down the best phone to get. Major Features over Competition:

1) Dual Core & 1 GB RAM for Smooth Multi Tasking and Processing
2) Front Camera for Video Calls
3) 4.7" Display is simply Awesome
4) Enough Battery to last one heavy day easily
5) 5 mpx Camera is so so but HD Recording is Super
6) Expandable Storage
7) Fast...

LG Optimus L9- Go for it

A medium budget Smartphone with all features under Rs.16,000/- with free leather flip case.
I have purchased the Black colour LG Optimus L9 phone from local retailer shop in kochi on 16 Jun 2013 after researching among Samsung, Nokia, Sony, Micromax and Karbon Mobiles. I frankly speak the phone is worth to buy it. I was confused between Sony XperiaP, Sony Xperia L, Samsung Galaxy Grand Win, Micromax CanvasHD,Nokia Lumia 720 and LG Optimus L9.I will give the disadvantages among the phones:-
So...

No Apps2SD Support

If we consider only the hardware then this is the best phone in it's price range.

Here are the things that I miss very much and which should be there in this phone.

-> You cannot move applications to SD Card (The phone has no support for that), so there is no advantage of having a big capacity memory card (except for storing your music, videos and pictures).

-> Too many softwares pre installed (taking up majority of the internal memory), which in my opinion will not be used much.

-> out o...

A very Good buy

I brought this phone after much of deliberation and going through various reviews.
I must say initially i was skeptical about LG but going through specs i decided to go for it and i must say it is worth all the money... display is beautiful...i am yet to encounter significant lag in applications..i say significant because in android even high end phones show lag sometime...
signal quality is good...this is one aspect you should always check before buying phone which many users don't ....that...

Decent Phone for Good Price

I Got my LG Optimus L9 Today. I have been Using LG Optimus One for the last two years, and I haven't got any problems till now.
LG Optimus L9 is a decent phone here is my review
* Good Screen 4.7" IPS Display with a Pixel density of of 234 ppi. Pixel density is the most important thing.
* Dual Core processor from Texas Instruments, with 1 GB RAM. Decent enough for the price
* Handles multitasking well
* Very good Call Quality
* Above Average Battery. It has been 10 hours and there is still ...

Finally got the Smart Beast in my hand...I'm lovin it!!

So here I am writing review for my first smart phone LG Optimus L9 or as I call it Smart Beast.. :)

For all proud owners of smart phones and those who still missing that pride, I want to share how it feels when going to buy a "true" smartphone when every tom, dick and harry is out there selling all those smart features and claim to be the best.

I guess every buyer has following constraints in my mind when going for a smart phone:
- Need (Make it very clear what you want!)
- Budget (Money ma...
