Life of Pi is an American-Indian-British adventure-drama flick that was released in 2012. Based on Yann Martel's novel of the same name, Life of Pi is a partly computer-animated film about a young Indian man, who after surviving a storm at sea, is stranded on a lifeboat in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of animals, notably, a Bengal tiger named Richard Parker who Pi, the protagonist, forms an unexpected connection with. Directed by the talented and humble Ang Lee, this motion picture explores the unpredictable intensity of life in all of its splendorous hues. You 'MUST' have this.
This is a wonderfully mastered Dvd. Lots of pain has gone into the look and the sound of the whole film, and me having a Home Theatre i was able to enjoy the movie exactly the way Ang Lee wanted us to enjoy it. The movie will come alive in your living room and before you know it you will feel like you are out there with Pi and Richard Parker on the ocean.

great quality
As for the first DVD,it contains the movie in various indian languages(Telugu,Tamil,Hindi), the quality is great,as if it brings everything to life.
The second DVD contains only a 20 minutes excerpts of the interviews(I expected some unseen footage and making).
Overall, a good deal as I got it at a great price.
a single disc edition will do it.

Life of PI -
This kind of treatment to an Indian subject can never come from our home grown talent which prodcues only with kiddiesh love stories and crude item numbers.
Its time we as audiance also stops watching trash that comes out of factory called Bollywood.
