This is one of most oldest models by Linksys, but it is still rock solid. I purchased this a year back and it has been running almost 24x7 without a restart. Flashed it with tomato and I can use it as whatever I want - router, repeater, access point. The stock firmware is also good, but if you want to get the best out of this router, you should flash with DD-WRT or Tomato. Both the firmwares unlocks the capabilities of the router. I do not understand the pricing logic of this wireless g router. The antenna gain is just 2.5 dbi per antenna. In TP link ones @ 1700 Rs., it's 5dbi /antenna. I own one. Of course it's good but the range is not comparable to any of the new wireless n routers available. In my apartment, the signal strength drops by 90% at the corners. 4500 rs is ridiculous.

I found the Cisco Linksys WRT54GL Wireless-G Broadband Linux Router to be fair enough for experimenting upon with OpenWRT.

Using it since June 2007. Its one of the most amazing routers ever. Covers my entire home (4BHK) and works outside the house as well. Go ahead and buy it with your eyes closed.

The signal is strong and works across devices such as PS, Laptops, tablets phones etc.

I had used this product before and was satisfied with it. However when i order the product this time, it was not working and i informed Flipkart the same day. I got a call from their product specialist asking me to call Cisco support to see if the issue could be resolved. I agreed to do so. Within 30 minutes of the call and before i would call Cisco, I get a sms from Flipkart that the request to return has been rejected. Flipkart service is atrocious.
