Abi tak toh theek hi hai (Till now it's good)!

Webcam picture quality on your computer screen is nice. However, its a vga-camera like when you use it actually on services such as skype etc. Moreover, its a wise decision to purchase this model over the other similar pricey models of logitech because a lot depends on connection speeds while making video calls, and you need atleast 2mbps for a hd-level video conference, which at the moment is costly in India. Moreover, its the other person benefitting from your expensive camera, not you :-P ...

You get what you pay for.

The images you click with this webcam will be of average quality. It won't be too pixelated or smudged, but it also won't be crisp and clear. The 5 MP specification is only on paper. But it's still satisfactory.

Coming to video quality, there isn't much to complain about. It records decent 480p videos and video calling with this is pretty good. Even though it's not HD, it does the job. For the price you pay, this is a good bargain. The mic on it is also pretty good.

Pretty good for the price

This is perhaps the best webcam for Indian users, considering the fact that most of us do not have access to a high-speed Internet connection. Even if you do have a fast connection, your friend may not have it...so your HD video will actually come across to him or her as a stuttering YouTube video!

Although this webcam has VGA video, the picture quality is quite good. Even in low-light, the picture quality is pretty decent, which is something you won't get in most other webcams.

The video resolution is 1024*768 which is higher than any other webcam in the range.Still photos can be shot upto 5MP which is again best in the bracket.Completely satisfied with the product and its performance.The stand fits perfectly on the LCD monitor as well which again is a thumbs up.

Spectacular webcam. BUT...

Many of my friends have webcams.I was the only exception on their list.
SO,I found this webcam interesting and bought it for Rs 1050/-.

Pros:-

1) I was blown away by the lighting effect of this webcam.
2) Fastest transmission of video in video calling(according to the "LIGHTNING" speed of Internet in India)

Cons:-

1) It's not HD.Understand that.It may seem to be in HD while video calling,BUT IT'S NOT HD.

Good Webcam

Its a very good webcam, no need to install it on any OS. Just plug and play. Most of the OS these days will take care of Drivers. I didn't buy this from Flipkart since I found the price to be higher than the best price. Got it at 800 bucks, right now on FP too price has come down to 900. Its a very good buy , worth every penny.
