Well, this is a very comforting and accurate mouse.... Various weights helped me to get more comfort... Very precise.... Beautifull...And for games like counter strike 1.6, or any other fps games such as call of duty or any battle field.... This is the mouse i was looking for... Not too costly but medium priced but also worth everything. Worth every penny............

I purchased the the G500 as per a recommendation from a fellow gamer on Quora. I am pleased to say that I absolutely love it!

The DPI settings that range from 200 - upwards of 5000 let me choose between precision or speed and give me that added edge that is the determining factor in the outcome (winning or loosing) of a game. The precision low DPI's are great for MMOs, RPGs or RTS type games and the 5k+ high DPI's are great for speed in FPS or AA type games.

Excellent mid-range gaming mice. Very superior quality. But the weight is not that required for me. I'm happy with the default weight. It's personal preference. Performance is at par with the Razer Imperator but it doesn't have the double clicking issue like that of the Imperator. Can track on any surface but it is better to have a good mouse surface from other gaming company like Razer or Steelseries, etc. Loved it. Overall a great mouse in its price range.

Got this mouse 10 months ago. This has been the best mouse I have ever used. Is very comfortable and provides great support for the hand as I use it for long hours, especially for people with large palms.

The cord on the other hand which seems rigid on first sight; isn't really rigid. The threads have ripped out in many places. And as of today I think the cord has stopped serving its purpose. There are a lot of reports for its cord on the Logitech forum as well.

i got this item 3 days after i place order, awesome mouse for those u play 1st person shooter it has 10 programmable buttons which u can use after downloading the logitech driver,Dpi upto 5700 rox i usually play @ 2200 and sensitivity @ 1.6

please don't buy it. This mouse has a serious issue of right click and double click which usually starts after 7-8 months of use.

Logitech G5 MOuse is just awesome. the game play m having is counter strike & it suits me very well. the ergonomics provided by this mouse is totallty perfect. Ur hand will rest totally on G5. The sensitivity provided is 500 dpi which is very rare to use.
mostly 3500 upto max is suitable.
