Bkon Plus CZS Tablet is a multivitamin combination of Chromium, Cyanocobalamin, Selenium, Folic acid, Niacinamide Pyridoxine, and zinc. Bkon Plus CZS provides nutritional support to Mellitus patients with the known nutritional deficit or helps those who are at risk of developing a nutritional deficiency. This is to be co-prescribed for oral administration with oral antimellitus agents and insulin injections in the management of DM. Vitamin B3, B6, B9, and B12: Vitamin B3 is involved in the production of energy, and the synthesis of fatty acids, cholesterol, and steroids Vitamin B6 takes part in the formation of some important co-enzymes involved in the metabolism of amino acids, proteins, and glycogen Vitamin B9 and Vitamin B12 are essential for erythropoiesis, maturation of red blood cells, the formation of myelin sheath in nerve cells, and biosynthesis of DNA Chromium, Selenium, Zinc: Chromium potentiates insulin action, and thus influences carbohydrate, lipid, and protein metabolism Selenium has been implicated in the protection of body tissues against oxidative stress (antioxidant), in growth and development Zinc is an essential component of a large number of enzymes participating in the synthesis and degradation of carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, nucleic acids, and micronutrients.
