Metz Mecablitz 44 AF-1 Digital for Nikon Flash

Hi every one. Hope you are all doing good. Well coming to the point. Couple of days back i was on the verge of making a purchase of this particular Flash. Like others went through all the website every one rated it as best. But i stepped in to the local markets of Chennai to know how much this Flash is costing on the counters. Every one gave the same price as it is mentioned in the Flipkart. But in doing so i also found out there are other equable Flashes at a very low cost such as Sunpack Rs...

This is a no-nonsense flash unit from the house of Metz. The unit is very sturdy and it works amazingly well as an off-camera slave on my Nikon D300s. I also have the Metz 50 AF-1 (bought from Flipkart again) and both can be fired as off-camera slaves using the D300s as the commander.
Only drawbacks that I can think of are:
a) No LCD display
b) Plastic hot-shoe

But for the price, this is a steal. Highly recommended!
