I was hesitant to purchase this phone as I was not sure of its performance. I have been using micromax phone for quite some time. Prior to this phone I had a Q 75 and it never gave me any problems. I dropped it once and the body cracked. The phone still worked. It is solid maal. Therefore I decided to buy Q 80 its successor. The main features of the phone are

Its been over a month since i got this phone and i really like what it gives... Awesome 3G, and Wi-Fi does connect to a pretty reasonable extent... But the thing is, i had a small accident and my headset broke... i can't find a proper replacement cuz the original gave me the feel of listening to a iPod... and you don't get much information from the manual either...

Just got the mobile. Am very impressed to say the least. Falling in love with it. Worthwhile buy, great price.

Though I haven't bought this phone from Flipkart, I thought of dropping in a review. I bought this from a store a month ago and so far I'm happy. This is a really nice qwerty phone with good features. The features I like are listed below:

guys my main intention of buying this mobile was for the value.I use a main high end phone and the sole purpose of buying it was to keep it as a side mobi as many do. If u r gonna use it a ur primary cell " Dont BUY IT".Browsers are horrible, no good apps or document readers available. At first glance it looks amazing phone, from the point of value for money.

battery backup is poor. you need to charge it daily, and even twice if you talk more.

Push Email Service does not work. when i wrote to Micromax they reverted back with a standard answer

"we would like to inform you that that here is some server issue going on at EZ Mail Server and team is woking for same. so request you to provide us some time and will revert you soon as soon as server get rectified".

Dual sim, dual camera, 3G and bluetooth, infact all features are good.
one drawback I found was non compatibility of micro SD HC cards. It only supports micro SD cards.

q80 is the best low budget phone. value for the money.
The features of q80 are very attractive for the price and the sleek design makes it good to handle and also in steady grip.
