About the Author
Suraj Kumar was born in 1975 at Nalanda (Bihar) and completed PhD along with senior research follow-ship (Indian Council of Medical Research) from Chattrapati Sahuji Maharaj Medical University, Lucknow. He is presently working at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Institute for the Physically Handicapped, Govt of India; New Delhi. He obtained his Master's degree in physiotherapy (sports medicine) from Bhopal University, Bhopal. He has got ten year experience in teaching, clinical and research in various educa-tional institutions for undergraduate and postgraduate students. So far he has been invigilating and conducting university level examinations for more than ten universities along with board of studies member for different universities.

Dr Kumar has to his credit a number of articles (20) and research papers (international and national) published in various reputed journals. He was also associated with Indian National Women Hockey team and had represented as a physiotherapist for Fifteenth Asian Games held at Doha in 2006. He is also associated with Rehabilitation of Indian and National Trust as an inspector for NGO related work concerning persons with disabilities. He is also an active member of various Physiotherapy professional associations as well as chairing as a scientific chairman for conferences. He has also organized various physiotherapy camps, CME and Workshops at different places in India.
