Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev was born in Mysore in 1957. The youngest of four children, he graduated with a degree in English Literature from the University of Mysore. As a young man, he had a love for travel and a passion for motorcycles. He combined the two and travelled long distances on his motorcycle. He once even reached the Nepalese border, but did not enter the country because he had no passport. When he was 25, he had an enlightening spiritual experience while on a trip to the Chamundi Hill, which changed the course of his life. He later established the Isha Yoga Foundation, which now offers yoga programs all around the world.
