The eccentric ways of the famous king Akhenaten and over ambitious queen Nefertiti has been described beautifully. But the story of the protagnist of the novel, mutny, nefertiti's sister is very touching and leaves a deep impact on the reader!! An excellent read!!

This book transports readers to the land of ancient Egypt, the people and their land and culture. Very well written. Must applaud the writer for writing on a subject who is not as famous as cleopatra but neverthless was one of the most powerful ladies of her times. Would definitely suggest reading this one and 'Cleopatra's daughter' if you love history and this genre of fiction
