Netgear WNDR4300 N750 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router

I just bought this router, got the delivery in just 2 days. After I started using it, found out that the range of this router is not so good, it was infact less than my earlier router which was half its price. Had to finally return it

Dual Band functionality is not so usefull and efficient(Download and upload speed, range),,,, Downloading and uploading speed is not up to the mark(as mentioned by the vendor)

I am using this product for last 6 months now, I am overall happy with the product.

Although signal does not reach every single room of our 3bhk house, but the rooms which are covered, signal is very robust and works well.

We have in all 7 gadgets in our home that are connected to this router plus as and when guests arrive they also some times ask for wireless access.

We do watch a lot of youtube videos and streaming HD quality video over has never been a problem for this router.

Both 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz are working perfectly and is perennially on at my residence.. No issues so far. Also the USB port is very useful in making a network printer or network storage by connecting USB drive.

Connectivity never dropped and working well in in 1700 sq ft house. Works with all devices and features are excellent.

I bought this couple of months ago. I already had a Netgear basic wireless router which I bought in 2008. I moved to new house (big). So, the range was little less. So, I bought this new 4300. The older one had a better range . Now, with the new one it's useless . I called up the Netgear toll free,,, they made some changes in the settings.
