I was looking for a router which could give me speeds in excess of 50Mbps on the Wi-Fi mode since I have ACT broadband where I have a 60Mbps plan and the Netgear router, WGR614 v7, that I was using was unable to give me anything beyond 20Mbps.

My search took me to this N300 series router and the price made me buy it, more so because of the familiar Netgear brand as well :)

Good speed , easy to install but the range is less compared to D link Routers, But on the plus side there are no connection drops which is sole reason i switched to this router.....

1)best in range cover upto 5-6 rooms house with easy !!!
2)no heating issue ever 24 HRS ON
3)no lag, no connections lost, no reset problems

This is fine. If you act customer and searching for wifi router it works for act fibernet too. Range is not worst I receive in my floor and next floor receive with minimum level of signal

Net gear router best one with this price. It's signal are really good and also the speed are pretty good .
Flipkart gives with reasonable price where as other site and shops are giving huge price .

One problem is when you switch it off and then turn on it asks for your broadband login to access .

- can track data and user connected.
- delivery was fast but seller took long time to confirm the product.

The Netgear routers are nice with easy installation options. The range is less and with 2 antennae, it gives the same range as a Netgear N150 which has 1 antenna.
Setup is easy, I was easily able to setup my Tikona connection.
Another thing that I noticed was that the "Region" option in Wireless setup is set to "Europe" and is disabled, so I cant change it to ASIA. Not sure if that is the reason for low range and only 2.4 GHz option.

I was trying to find a replacement for my existing D-Link 600L router as I was having connectivity issues with new laptops and smarphones - not sure if it was one off a defect piece.

Finalized on Netgear WNR614 router after taking inputs from different people and forums. It is really awesome and does its job perfectly without any hiccups.

As mentioned by different people in the reviews, yes there is no ethernet cable provided for initial configuration. But Netgear indeed mentioned in the do...

This is a good WIFI router, but be advised that this will only generate wifi from ethernet. It will NOT work directly with the DSL/ADSL Line. You need a modem for that.
That aside, it does the job well. Very quick setup, amazing range (can expect full signal over an area of 1500-2000sq ft) given that the location is central and it doesn't have an immediate obstruction.

This is a very good product at this price range. It is very easy to activate and the range is very good as expected. I have connected two mobiles and one laptop, but the speed is still good. I did not see any decrease in speed. The Netgear looks very good and stylish.

About Flipkart, it is super fast delivery. Ordered on Day 1 and got the delivery on Day 2 morning.

I would definitely recommend this.
