One of the great lenses from Nikon
If you are a portrait enthusiast, you will find it hard to remove this from your camera body. the aperture size itself will enable you to take natural picture which are beyond the capacity of other lenses. fast lenses like this also enable you with handheld photography where you might be habitual of tripod with soon lenses. overall great add of to the kit.

Awesome lens! But don't buy it for in house photography.
This lens is awesome, give really nice bokeh/blur effect. But please don't buy if you want to shoot inside a room. It will hardly accommodate 2 faces in the frame if you are in a room.
If you are 3-4 guys then you will have run with it to bring all of them in a frame.
Best for the portraits & Outdoor shooting!!

Just wow!
Very good night performance with my nikon d7500 which is a crop sensor night beast.. Night photos turns out to be awesome little to no grains.. I don't do flash photography so have no idea how those will turn out..

Poor Autofocus
Autofocus is all over the place, difficult to get a quick focus and you have to do manual tweaking all the time. In low light autofocus is pretty much useless

This prime lens is good for portrait photography for it has 50 mm. Moreover, it's speciality is in low light like house and under the shade for it's aperture is f/1.4G. Therefore this lens is reasonable and has good result as well.

A:As it comes with a 1.4 max aperture which is wider than 1.8G you get better photos in low light and a shallow Depth of field
