Description
The Nikon Coolpix L120 is a 14.1 megapixel camera and is powered by Nikon EXPEED C2 image processor. The L120 has a 1/2.3-inch CCD sensor. The camera supports aspect ratios of 4:3 and 16:9. The Coolpix L120 has 21x optical zoom NIKKOR lens, which has a focal length of up to super-telephoto 525 mm.

The L120 weighs 431 g (with battery and memory card) and has dimension of 109.9 x 76.5 x 78.4 mm. The Coolpix L120 has a 3-inch TFT LCD monitor with anti-reflection coating and has resolution of 921,000 dot pixels. Coolpix L120 has an internal memory of 102 MB and external memory can be added using SD, SDHC and SDXC memory card. The AA size LR6/L40 batteries that come with the camera kit are capable of taking 330 pictures.Performance
The 21x optical zoom NIKKOR lens of the Nikon Coolpix L120 has focal range of 25 - 525 mm (35 mm equivalent). The lens can zoom optically up to 21x and digitally up to 4x. This Nikon camera has Contrast detection Auto focus and has a range of 50 cm in Normal mode and 1 cm in Macro mode. The Auto ISO of the camera ranges from ISO 80 - 800 and Manual ISO ranges from ISO 80 - 6400. Users can also use the Sports continuous mode, which has an ISO range of 400 - 3200.The Mechanical and charge-coupled electronic shutter has the range of 1/1000 - 1 sec on Auto ISO mode. The built-in pop up Flash has a range of 0.5 to 6.0 m (wide) and 1.5 to 3.0 m (tele). The Aperture of the Coolpix L120 is F3.1 - F5.8.
Feature and Connectivity
The Nikon L120 camera has various scene modes such as Portrait, Landscape, Night portrait, Party/indoor, Beach, Snow, Sunset, Dusk/dawn, Night landscape, Close-up, Food, Museum, Fireworks show, Black and White Copy, Backlighting, Panorama assist, and Pet Portrait. This Coolpix camera also features image stabilization software like BSS (Best Shot Selector) and a combination of Image Sensor shift and Electronic VR software.User can setup a Self timer of 10 sec duration and Continuous shot can be taken at 0.7 fps for up to 19 shots. This Nikon L120 camera can shoot HD videos (1280 x 720) at 30 fps. The camera supports JPEG image format and MPEG-4 AVC H.264 movie format. In terms of connectivity, the Nikon Coolpix L120 supports HDMI and USB 2.0.

First and foremost... the tag line of 21x zoom really works well... specially amazing is the quick autofocus response even at maximum zoom.
The clarity is very impressive... with the LCD screen showing you extremely vivid images.

Excellent Stereo Sound quality
If you are planning to buy a camera which not only captures HD quality video but captures hardly audible sounds then Nikon Coolpix L120 is the best option. Its stereo sound is amazing which makes video more realistic with great audio quality.

Best in class of Performance to Cost Ratio
Okay, so the thing is I wanted to buy a Camera for my parents' use. So obvisiouly it had to be a point and Shoot camera.

My views on Nikon coolpix L120
Since we have planned an Europe tour so i was looking for a camera which is easy to handle and has high optical zoom with high picture quality and finally i purchased nikon coolpix L120. And as expected, it fulfilled all my expectations and we were amazed by the result. This camera has made our tour memorable by great results. The best camera in its range.

This camera is a steel for its price.
Pros:
Image Clarity.
Super Zoom.
Zoom button on the lens.
Cons:
No Manual Mode ( I knew this before buying).
No viewfinder ( Might be a little difficult for SLR Users).
Modes are a bit confusing.
If you are looking for a Super Zoom , Super Clarity Point and shoot ( with Gr8 Value) camera look no further.
If you are looking for a Typical bridge may I suggest LUMIX DMC FZ100...

Nice camera with few glitches
I had bought this camera recently. Its best in this price range (especially deal with flipkart).
