This is an excellent flash and a very good (and cheaper) alternative to Nikon SB-600. It is a perfect companion to my Nikon D5000.

I would recommend this flash to any DSLR owner.

The flash head can be turned in all 4 directions (up-down and left-right). This allows the flash to be used creatively. Straight on flash is not recommended in all scenarios. Just recently purchased the flash, looking for something comparable to the SB-600 which was too costly for my amateur photographers budget. I had recently read about Nissin in Smart photography and was delighted to see them at Flipkart. Delighted with this product, just perfect to match my D90 and 28-70mm lens for snaps of friends and family at parties. Works perfectly with 2500mh AA batteries.
