After going through the free pdf version of this book that i got somewhere from the internet, i was really tempted to buy this book! I have no words to explain how much I'm enjoying reading this book. Thanks to Mala Gupta for such a wonderful book. It would be great if she can publish a book on OCP Java SE 7 too.

I cleared certification exam with flying colors. Content and examples used in the book are very good.

Advantages:
-Exam tips in between topics
-Twist in the tale exercises drives you to think further.
-A full mock test with explanation is covered in the book as well

Optional Reading:
It pin points OCA topics and is enough from exam prespective. If you are looking for more detailed knowledge I recommend reading "OCA Java SE 7 Associate Study Guideby Edward Finegan and Robert Liguori" and "...

i don't think you,ll need another book after reading this one.
I'll suggest you to solve some mock tests after this book.

book is really good for beginners but "Exceptions" are not properly explained.
It comes with single mock exam which is not sufficient. In order to pass the exam at least 5 mocks are must.

"WhizLabs" provide good set of Mock Exams.

I read the pdf version of this book and after reading good reviews at Flipkart.com, I decided to order it. I am reading it currently and I must say that one should buy this book, irrespective of whether one is writing OCAJP or not. This book will clear your concepts and for exam aspirants, it is extremely to the point with no confusing details. The exercises are fun and help you understand the corner cases.

This book is worth buying...it covers all the topics for the OCA exam.
It is well-written and easy to understand.
