A Timeless Classic
This is one of my absolute favourite books ever. The story's simplicity is what lies at the core of its charm, and the heartbreaking conclusion has made me shed many a tear. (I'm not ashamed to admit it.) I'm getting multiple copies of this book to gift all of my friends on their birthdays this year. :)

'Of Mice and Men' is a gem of a work. Despite being a short text, the characters spread over the canvass effortlessly. George and Lennie take you on a wonderful journey with extreme emotions laden with witty humour and all of it happens so quickly that it leaves you emotionally drained. A brilliant book by John Steinbeck. It personafies the culture of the time trying to lead the author to an better understanding of they percieve as important. Written at a time of oppurtunity, it is a simple read showing us the simplicity with which our lives maybe lived if we decide correctly what is important in this life.

a relation beyond words
the story seemed to be more of a play as the novel is fast pacing, concluding in just three days action but arouses sympathy with the character of Lennie Small and pity for George Milton who faces the reality of depression in America...though the book has been declared as the most challenged book of American Library Association for the content of profanity, it is worth a reading for understanding the elements of racism, feminism and responsibility...
