Great product
I have read spectrum many times and it could help you clear prelims for sure but without knowing back story, writing answers in mains is bit difficult so i prefered this one and found it really amazing. If you are beginner go with this but if you have already completed ncerts or bipan chandra than spectrum would fillup the gaps.

A:main difference is remove of post independence part in 2nd edition.so,a different book of post independence is out there.Gandhian history is now more elaborated and 2 appendix are added.buy latest one
