Place a request to sell. Within 2-4 days, depending on your location an executive will visit your address and check your phone.
After checking your phone, which will include downloading Yaantra diagnostics app, to check various conditions of the phone like WiFi, screen condition etc. the executive will offer a final price for your phone.
Once You have provided consent to the Wishmaster/Delivery Executive to handover Your device and accept the offer price, the transaction is completed. You will receive the offered value in the form of Flipkart Gift Cards or transfer to your Bank account (as per the preferred payout mode selected during order creation), within 24 hours of pickup.
By default, a Flipkart Gift Card will be selected as the option for consideration for the User, However, the User can change to “Bank Account”. On clicking on the Bank account option, User will get 2 options, either select from the accounts added in Flipkart earlier or add another account.
On clicking add another account, User needs to input bank account details such as IFSC Code, account number & name of account holder.
These bank account details will be verified by making a token deposit either before placing the order or after placing the order. If it is verified before placing the order & if the verification process fails, the user will see an error message & they cannot proceed with the same Bank Account, in such case the user have to enter an alternate Bank account details for the Verification & Payout subsequently.
Can the value of the phone be reduced?
There might be a difference in value if there are any of the following issues on your phone:
Depending on the condition of the phone, the value can be reduced. The value is pre-decided by Flipkart. Customers can find the drop in value vs condition chart in the "View checks" section of the order in the "My orders" page.
In case of drop in trade in/SellBack value, You can choose to accept or reject the new offer value. Should You choose to accept the final value, You will need to provide consent in a link that will be shared with You in a SMS, as acceptance of the sale of the device and acceptance of the offer value. The SMS will be sent on on Your registered mobile number used while placing the order

How do I know if my device is eligible for selling?
To verify if your old phone is eligible, check the list of eligible devices in the ‘Sell Now’ section.
How do I place an order to sell my phone?
You will need to provide details about your old phone, like Brand, Model and IMEI number. You will then see the effective final sale price of the phone you wish to sell. If you like the price, then you can create an order by sharing details like mode of payment (you can select between flipkart gift vouchers and bank account transfer) in which you want to receive the money (if pickup is successful), your address and other details etc.
Post that, you can hand in your phone to the pick up executive and within 24 hrs a gift card or bank account transfer will be credited into your account as per your selection .
How do I find the IMEI number of my mobile phone?
The IMEI number can be found by dialling *#06# on your phone, just go to the dialler app (from where you dial phone numbers), and type \#06# and press dial, if your phone supports multiple SIM cards, you will see multiple IMEIs, you can enter IMEI 1 to proceed.* You can also find it printed on your phone below the battery slot. You can also find it on your phone's original packaging or on the invoice of the phone.
Should the device be in working condition to qualify for this offer?
Yes. The phone needs to be in working condition. It also needs to have all screen locks disabled and the iCloud Account unlocked to initiate the sell process.
During pick up, can I sell multiple phones?
You can only sell the phone you’ve mentioned on Flipkart. If you want to sell multiple phones, you can create multiple requests/orders and all of them will be attended by our executive within the promised time, pickup for each might happen separately, and payment for each will come separately as well.
Can I hand in a different phone during assessment?
No, you can only sell the phone for which you have provided details; if you change your mind and want to sell another phone, cancel the current order and place a fresh order.
Any reminders before I sell my phone?
Kindly ensure all your data is backed up and cleared from your old phone before giving it to the executive. You may also remove the memory card. In the event the device is not working or the pick up executive is not able to do an iCloud unlock check or screen lock check/IMEI check due to a phone being "factory reset", the device will not be picked up by the executive and the sale will not go through. Lastly, please keep your phone charged to at least 50% to ensure that the pickup executive can conduct all the tests without the battery running out.
Once you have decided to handover the device to our WishMaster/Delivery Executive, kindly ensure the device is factory reseted before the handover.
The phone I'm selling is a dual SIM device. Do I have to provide both the IMEI numbers while filling the sell- back form?
No, you need to just mention one IMEI number while filling the form.
Why do I see pickup charges* for selling?
When you avail the sell-back offer, our pick up executive picks up your old device right at your doorstep. The pickup charge covers pickup from doorstep, packing, shipping of your old device and the *gift card issuance charge.
What if the Payment initiated via Bank Transfer Fails?
For initiating payment via Bank Transfer, a token deposit is made to the bank account whose details have been provided by the User.

Can I request to get my old phone back after a successful transaction?
Once your old phone has been successfully picked up and you have received the offer price, the phone cannot be returned to you. Please ensure that you delete all data in your phone before pick up. Flipkart will not bear any liability with respect to the phone.
Where can I use the Gift Card?
Once the gift card is credited to your wallet, you can use it to shop on Flipkart. You can use it to buy any product (Excluding Gift cards) listed on Flipkart. Learn more here.
