SuperCoins Terms And Conditions

PRELIMINARY

• "SuperCoins" is a feature introduced on flipkart.com website, Flipkart mobile app, Flipkart mobile website (all three collectively "Platform"), by the owner and operator of the Platform, Flipkart Internet Private Limited ("Flipkart").
• The following terms ("Terms") are part of and subject to the terms of use, privacy policy and other relevant documentation including any modifications, alterations or updates thereof, that are published on the Platform.

SUPER PARTNERS

• In order to earn or use SuperCoins, you can transact on partner platforms including but not limited to Myntra, Cleartrip etc. (“Super Partners”) , play games, participate in contests and offers that support issuing and redemption of SuperCoins. Each such transaction or participation on the Platform and on Super Partners shall hereinafter collectively be referred to as “Eligible Order”). Each “Super Partner” will have separate terms & conditions for SuperCoin issuance and redemption.

EARNING SuperCoins (Applicable Only to Plus Silver, Plus Gold & VIP Members)

• No SuperCoin Earning for Members outside of Plus Silver, Plus Gold & VIP membership.
• In order to earn SuperCoins on Flipkart, You are required to place an order on the Platform, for a minimum of Rs.100 and above (the net order value will be taken into consideration which is total order value minus cancelled/returned item value ).
• All SuperCoins earnings will be at the order level and not at the item level
• For every Eligible Order in the Platform, Flipkart Plus Silver customers will earn 1 SuperCoin for every Rs.100 Order value and Flipkart Plus Gold customers will earn 2 SuperCoins for every Rs.100 Order value. For example, for an order value of Rs 100 Flipkart Plus Silver customer will earn 1 SuperCoin and Flipkart Plus Gold customers will earn 2 SuperCoins. Please note that the SuperCoins earned will be on the actual order value excluding any instant discounts or cashbacks credited via payment partners. This will not be applicable for Super Partners and earning of SuperCoins will be as per the respective Super Partner’s guidelines.
• A maximum of 25 SuperCoins can be earned in a single Eligible Order. For example, for an order value of Rs 2500 Flipkart Plus Silver will earn a maximum of 25 SuperCoins and for an order value of Rs.1250 Flipkart Plus Gold customers will earn maximum 25 SuperCoins. This scenario will not be applicable for Super Partners and will be applicable as per their Terms & Conditions.

• The value of the following product purchases on the Platform will not be added towards calculation of an Eligible Order.

  • Flipkart Gift Cards; and
  • Gold Coins/ Gold Bars
  • Gift Voucher (E.g. Malabar Gift Vouchers sold on Flipkart)
  • FK branded Carton & Packaging Boxes (Bought by sellers for Market Place)
  • FK branded Packaging Security Bags (Bought by seller for Market Place)
  • FK printed Cello Tapes & Tape Dispensers (Bought by seller for Market Place)
  • Digital Products
• SuperCoins cannot be earned or burned on any purchases made on (seller.flipkart.com).
• For purchases made or transactions done with Super Partners on their respective platforms, applicability of SuperCoin earning and redemption on particular products/services will be at the discretion of the Super Partner and as per Super Partner’s guidelines. Super Partner’s terms and conditions, in addition to these Terms, shall be applicable to any transactions made on their platforms.
• SuperCoins earned by you shall be linked to your phone number registered with Flipkart.

CREDITING OF SuperCoins

• SuperCoins will be credited only after the expiry of the return period of all items/products in the Eligible Order. If there are multiple items/products in an Eligible Order, the highest return window will be considered. For Super Partners, SuperCoins will be credited as per Super Partner’s guidelines.
• If an Eligible Order gets cancelled / returned, the related SuperCoins will get reversed.
• In case of partial cancellation, if the net order value drops below Rs 100, then no SuperCoins will be awarded. In case the order consists of non-returnable items only, SuperCoins will be available to use at the end of the day of delivery.
• In case of replacement request of any of the products in the Eligible Order, SuperCoins will be credited only after the expiry of the return period of the replaced items/products in the Eligible Order.

EXPIRY OF SuperCoins

• SuperCoins will expire after 3-months from the date in which they were credited to a user's account, unless specified otherwise. Expiry of SuperCoins only starts once these are credited into a user's accounts.
• The validity of extra SuperCoins may vary from 1 to 3 months depending on the product & seller. The same can be seen in the SuperCoins Ledger.
• Any SuperCoins issued before 21st November 2024 would have ‘as is’ expiry date.

• For example,

  • Example with earned & credited: SuperCoins were earned on 15-Dec-2024 & credited into a user's account on 01 Jan 2025. These SuperCoins will expire on 31-Mar-2025
  • SuperCoins credited on 01-Aug-2025 will expire on 31-Oct-2025

MERGING OF SuperCoins

• SuperCoins from another account can be combined in case you have multiple accounts in your name, subject to verification to the satisfaction of Flipkart that the accounts are held by the same individual.
• SuperCoins from any other account cannot be combined which does not mention your name and is not verified to the satisfaction of Flipkart. SuperCoins cannot be gifted or transferred.

Usage of Supercoins

• SuperCoins cannot be converted to cash or used in lieu of cash.
• SuperCoins are not transferable. Any wrongful transfer of SuperCoins shall be void ab initio.
• SuperCoins cannot be used for purchases on the Platform in lieu of cash.
• All SuperCoins accumulated on blacklisted accounts, as per applicable policies of Flipkart, shall be cancelled with immediate effect.
• SuperCoins can be used across Platform and SuperPartners for availing special incentives and offers. SuperCoins once used will not be reversed. Flipkart may share details of your earned SuperCoins with SuperPartners to facilitate usage. Your registered phone number with Flipkart may be shared with SuperPartners for this purpose.
• SuperCoins does not have any monetary value and customer will not be eligible for any monetary compensation in lieu of settlement against Supercoins or in case of loss of SuperCoins.
• Customers can visit the website https://www.flipkart.com/supercoin to explore different constructs where they can redeem SuperCoins to get special incentives and offers.

OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• These Terms are subject to change, at the sole discretion of Flipkart, from time to time.
• By enrolling into the Plus program or by providing Your information, You consent to the collection, transfer, sharing, use and otherwise processing of Your information in accordance with the Terms and the privacy policy published on the Platform.
• Flipkart reserves the right to disqualify You from earning any SuperCoin if any fraudulent/abuse/ reseller/affiliates activity is identified as being carried out for the purpose of earning SuperCoins or if You have violated any Terms or applicable laws. Disqualification may result in immediate cancellation of all SuperCoins in 'earned' or 'pending to be earned'.
• These Terms are subject to the prevailing laws of India.
• You acknowledge and confirm that You are aware of the nature of telecommunications/ internet services and that an email transmission may not be received properly and may be read or be known to any unauthorised persons. You agree to assume and bear all the risks involved in respect of such errors and misunderstanding and Flipkart shall not be responsible in any manner.
• Flipkart disclaims all liability that may arise due to any violation of the applicable laws by You.
• Flipkart reserves the right to suspend the issue of SuperCoins to you personally, or to all users temporarily or permanently at any time without notice.
• In case of any dispute or difference arising concerning SuperCoins or any alleged defect or deficiency of service availed, the same shall be resolved through arbitration as per the arbitration and the conciliation act 1996 and seat will be at Bangalore, Karnataka.
• Flipkart reserves the right at any time to modify, withdraw or terminate 'SuperCoins' as a feature on the Platform at its discretion, without any prior notice and without any liability or obligation in this regard.
• You are not bound in any way to actively accumulate or use SuperCoins. Any action towards using SuperCoins is voluntary.
• You hereby agree to indemnify and keep Flipkart harmless against all damages, liabilities, costs, expenses, claims, suits and proceedings (including reasonable attorney's fee) that may be suffered by Flipkart as a consequence of (i) violation of terms of this T&C by You; (ii) violation of applicable laws; (iii) any action or inaction resulting in wilful misconduct or negligence on Your part.
• This document is an electronic record in terms of Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Rules thereunder as applicable and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic records in various statutes as amended by the Information Technology Act, 2000. This electronic record is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures.
