Can't get better than this.

I wanted to buy a camera with full manual control, a versatile lens and full HD video capabilities. I zeroed in on Lumix Fz150 since most reviews compared every camera in the category ( Canon SX-40 HS, Nikon P510, Sony HX200V ) to the Fz150 and it always came on top. The Hottest Bridge Camera- Panasonic FZ200, Believe it!!!

I have recently bought this camera after a lot of thought & research on the internet. The price that it is coming for, rivals entry to mid level DSLRs. Think about it, one can get a Canon 1100D or Nikon 3100D easily at this price. Thorough overall performer - be aware of UHS-1 issues though

I bought this camera for birding which is one of the trickiest kinds of photography around. Its a brilliant device for all sorts of photography though.

Here are some of the best parts -
1) The f2.8 lens is sharp at f2.8 - a rare accomplishment.
2) The camera is brutally fast - AF is quick and sure - I can track birds coming towards me! No visible shutter lag.

Why should you buy this camera?

About the camera:
Some of you, who have not done their research yet, may say why should I buy a Panasonic instead of a Nikon or Canon? In that case you are ill-informed. This camera uses a Leica lens, the only one in world to have a constant aperture of 2.8 throughout the zoom range.
As for Leica, I would like to mention that It is the company which pioneered the image stabilization technology. And of course someone as legendary as Henri Cartier Bresson used a Leica camera.

It's a FLAGSHIP camera..!!

People have already shared the PROS and CONS (don't find any :P).
So, I'd like to focus on thinking of most people.

Panasonic might not be a very popular or famous brand when it comes to cameras (Mentality of most people while buying anything - brand!)

But, let me tell you this - when you're buying a flagship model, when you're buying the pioneer in full range F value lens (LEICA), it doesn't matter!

You don't have to think twice before buying this product provided that you're comfortable...

I was to purchase this camera from flipkart but due to sudden turn of events, I had to get the camera pronto so headed for the authorized dealers and got one. Awesome picture quality in auto mode - both daylight scenes as well as night photography with flash is very good and very light weight. HD recording works very well. Best product for photography. Love recommending other.

2 Very good performances in low light.
3 Perfect flash performance if you slightly alter the exposure accordingly.
