Lovely iron. I remember people who worked abroad would bring irons like this back with them when I was in school. A classic product. Heavy, with button slits and and controls where they can't accidentally be moved when ironing.
Coming to the cons, it has a 2 pin plug and no earthing. Otherwise a fantastic product if it is really made in Japan.

A:Its the coil that heats up itself and then heats the metal plate. Temp lamp shows that coil inside is heating up.
