But SHOCKINGLY, this book isn't available in most of the book store & more surprisingly its not available with Flipkart too...!!! Which always been our source to source the books that we needed.
About the book, one has to read this to understand the Great epic Mahabharata in whole new dimension revealed logically.. Explaining the character's character is awesome, its more logic...

I am still searching for this book. Read 'Parva' in Sanskrit, thanks to Samskrita Bharati publication & Dr. Vishwasa's excellent translation. But also wanted to read its English translation. Gagandeep Singh's review does full justice to the book. I just like to say ---do---. Unfortunately not available in all the places I know - including Flipcart & amazon (the Sanskrit translation is plentifully available with SB) - a real magnum opus.

Parva is a book that will make you think. Many books just take you away on a fantasy but this is not one of them. Such detailed research and thought has gone into writing it.

its a hard bound book but binding of the book is not good.

the book is exceptional. it gives a nice perspective of all tha main characters of mahabharata. author tried to remove the myths from the story and gives logical explanation of almost everything.

Parva by S L Byrappa, a classic tale.. Mahabharata written in non-mythological fasion.. Portrays every character as humun and each character has emotions..

I request the flipkart.com to refloat the english translation of 'Parva' for sale online at an early date. I enjoyed reading 'Parva' many times in my mother tongue. Now eagerly waiting for it to read in english!
