The best SLR in the given price tag.

I wanted to buy a cam on march 8th as I have some function on 12th march and so did some google(used snapsort for comparing). Found that the best cam in my price range is K-30. Initially, I wanted to buy it from a shop as I might not get the cam delivered by 12th if I buy online. but thanks to flipkart's delivery for delivering it in exactly less than 24 hrs. so 5 *s for flipkart.

Coming the cam, it is a master piece.

the camera is awesome... best picture quality.. weather proof. much better than canons and nikons in this range.. used it for my 10 days of vacation to my hometown.. using it felt like heaven..

Flipkart's delivery and the priced offered by the dealer were quiet good at the time of purchase.

Now, when it comes to product...
Pentax do not have enough service centres in India.
The only service centre in Mumbai seems to have monopoly in the service market.
Although the service personnel seems to be knowledgeable enough about the products they are demanding exorbitant prices for simple fixes as it seems that Pentax/Ricoh has defined a stringent rules on how they should repair the prod...
